FlexDelft Bamboe koffiebeker
FlexDelft is existing 10-year. To celebrate this anniversary we give a free coffee mug to student who works for us. Didn’t you receive a mug? Please stop by our office to pick it up. Our office is open 13.00 – 17.00.
Note: of course this mug is free of harmful substance. You can safely drink hot drinks from this cup.
FlexDelft Feedbacklunch recap
On January 15, 2019 between 12:00-13:30hour FlexDelft hosted its first employee Feedbacklunch. This was initiated by one of the FlexDelft employees to increase employee participation in an accessible and informal way. Even though the attendance was not very high, this was very much appreciated by those who did swing by.
More important, we also received valuable feedback on where room of improvement is for the FlexDelft work processes. For example, the speed of the hour portal, unclarities of the payslip, employee cards, and delay in payment because of long hour approval.
Hereby we would like to inform you that we keep on developing the hour portal where possible, but unfortunately speed is something we currently cannot improve. This is because the portal needs to load information from another system, and it takes some time before this is transferred. We can imagine that this sometimes is frustrating but we are open for suggestions to make the waiting time less boring. With our portal developer we are looking at possibilities to send a reminder to your approver if declarations are waiting for approval for more than 2 weeks. Did you already see the ‘forgot password’ button on the hour portal login page? We added this based on your suggestions during the Employee Satisfaction Questionnaire from last year.
Currently the payslip is only available in Dutch. The reason is that this is being directly generated from the system and sent to you. We did request the system host to make is possible to translate the pay slip and they are working on it. In the meanwhile there is a description under the FAQ on the FlexDelft site about what is on your payslip (https://flexdelft.com/i-am-a-student/faq/). This is also available in Dutch. If your payslip question is not answered after reading this, feel free to drop by our office, call or send an email.
When you are working for FlexDelft your employer (faculty secretary/support service) can apply for your employee card. They can do that with the confirmation we send them after you registered with us and we got the application form from your assignment.
We are planning to organise another Feedbacklunch in 2019 and we are hoping to see you there. Off course we will communicate this in a timely matter by mail and on our website. If you have any feedback or suggestions in the meanwhile feel free to share this with us!
